Public Health Officials Lift Regional Stay at Home Order for All Regions
SACRAMENTO – Officials with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) today ended the Regional Stay at Home Order, lifting the order for all regions statewide, including the three regions that had still been under the order – San Joaquin Valley, Bay Area and Southern California. Four-week ICU capacity projections for these three regions are above 15%, the threshold that allows regions to exit the order.
We have been following up with daily updates from both Orange County Health Department and the State of California regarding COVID-19. Based on the latest press release, we are still operating and open. We have also confirmed with our local city board and council members that we do not fall under the category of limited business operations. However, Health Officials have allowed non-essential activities to reopen at limited capacity. We will still remain to operate and limit exposure by limiting fewer client appointments daily, as we transition to normal activities. As recommend by Healthcare Officials, the State and Orange County Board of Supervisors, we will be following guidelines to safely reopen our business.
Although we cannot completely social distance more than 6 feet or more, we will following the following safety guidelines by:
- Requiring Masks upon entry (we will also provide these at no additional cost to ensure safety)
- Taking contactless temperature prior to service or appointment
- Provide a COVID questionnaire
- Sanitizing hands
- Not recommending visits by "At Risk" clients
